The ringing can be aggravating for a person, but once the feeling passes most people forget that it ever occurred. In many cases, if the individual takes specific steps of treatment, they will be able to appreciate a decrease in the amount of aggravation and annoyance that the sufferer will deal with over time. The biggest problem with most of the treatments that are known about for the ringing in the ear is that they are not a cure, they are only able to provide temporary relief.
Some individuals will notice that, even without any type of treatment, it seems like their tinnitus improved over time. Even though a person finds relief with the passing of time, that does not mean that they have fixed whatever caused the ringing in the ears in the first place, it really means that a person might have learned to live with the issues that it causes.
