Let’s say that a bear walks into the room as you’re reading this article. Your brain will perceive the bear as stress, because it threatens your life (and I don’t know about you, but I’m a little on the chubby side, so I’d make a pretty good meal for that bear).

Your brain is hard-wired to survive, so at this moment, it has to make a decision – do you fight the bear or run from it? Either way, the body needs to be prepared for this additional activity, so your brain will turn on the SNS.

This part of your nervous system prepares your body to either fight or flee – so your blood pressure increases (you need lots of oxygen to the muscles so they can make you run fast or fight), your heart beats faster, you breathe more deeply, and many other things.

Once the bear is no longer a threat, the brain turns on the other part of the nervous system that I mentioned (the Parasympathetic Nervous System), which does the opposite – it calms you down.

When a person suffers with anxiety attacks, this reaction is intensified – so, their may only be 1 bear in the room, but your brain thinks there’s actually 5 bears. This is where the problem occurs.

So, with that said, what happens to your body during a panic attack? Well, the symptoms of panic attacks are different for each person, and they can be experienced to different degrees.

Some people will have very minor anxiety attacks, so may not even realize what is happening. Others have full-blown, very severe attacks that make them feel like they may be dying.

I am fairly sure that the majority of the readers of this article will agree that the teenage years are far from easy. I would even have to say that in this day and age the current crop of teenagers have never had so much pressure. What with the constant peer pressure of their friends to the school examinations plus the stress that their parents put on them; it can be quite tough. So how can we as parents attempt to help our beautiful teenage children cope with all these pressures and stresses?

"I blame the kids parents" is a famous saying. At times I agree with the statement as I sometimes can not understand the amount of young teenagers who are still out and about late at night. Now there is absolutely no way that I would allow my children to be out that late; I want to make sure that they are tucked safely in bed well before this time. So how come the parents of these teenagers are happy for them to still be out?

I certainly do not claim to have all of the answers. I am purely a web marketer who spends his day promoting a number of websites with regards to subjects such as debt specialist advice, DVD authoring and stuttering therapies. I’ve been looking forward to writing this Panic Puzzle review. Whenever I come across a course that looks great, I like to let other people know about it.

Rich Presta put together the Panic Puzzle system after struggling for years to rid himself of fears and anxieties. He did extensive research looking for solutions and reviewed every a sort of source he could find going back over 100 years.

He combined these time-proven methods with modern techniques to produce The Panic Puzzle system.

The program consists of a manual and extensive supplemental materials. This is a digital program, so you download the material immediately. The design is clean, attractive and easy to understand.

I found the explanations and instructions very clear and easy to understand. The presentation is very concise with no extra verbiage. For me, that’s a huge plus.

The training begins by defining the nature of fear, panic and anxiety. This is followed by exercises designed to help the reader uncover their own personal “fear cycle”.

Next comes a series of techniques that first interrupt your fear cycle and then completely dissolve your fears and anxieties.

As you go through the course you have a number of exercises to do that help you master the techniques taught. Personally,I would’ve appreciated more background information.

However, this is designed to be a practical program for someone to use. in the end, I think most people who appreciate its practical nature.

The program is direct and to the point.

Toward the end of the the training is what might appear at first to be a digression. Namely, a series of lessons on things such as goal setting and time management.

The main reason this section was included was to help people overcome an obstacle they commonly encounter when they have to learn new techniques - not enough time.

Though this didn’t directly address anxiety it became one of my favorite parts of the program.

In addition to the main manual, the course contains extensive supplemental and supporting materials that reinforced the main message.

All in all, this is an excellent program that I can highly recommend.

Charles Linden created The Linden Method as a way to overcome the severe anxiety and panic that he had been suffering from since he was a child. In addition to anxiety and panic attacks Charles also suffered from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and agoraphobia. He discovered that they all had the same common cause and he was able to eliminate all of his anxiety issues with the method that is now available to everybody called The Linden Method.

The success of The Linden Method has been phenomenal with well over 100,000 people having used it to rid themselves of their panic and anxiety disorders for good. The success of The Linden Method has led to Charles Linden becoming a well known authority in the field of anxiety disorders. He is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines and he has also had his own television series called “Stress Less”. The Times newspaper in the UK awarded his book “Stress Free in 30 Days” a “must read” seal of approval.

The Linden Method is the result of Charles Linden’s research that involved many other former anxiety sufferers and what they did to overcome their anxiety disorder. Charles found that many of these people all told similar stories and it was these similarities that led to the creation of The Linden Method.

Charles discovered that all anxiety disorders have one thing in common and that is they are all caused by the amygdala. The amygdala is a small organ in the brain that reacts like a switch that can either turn anxiety on or off. All anxiety disorders are the result of the amygdala getting switched on and getting stuck. The Linden Method works because it teaches techniques that result in the amygdala returning to the off position which removes the anxiety. This is the root cause of all anxiety disorders. This why so many other anxiety treatments fail because they don’t address the root cause of the anxiety. This is the reason for The Linden Methods incredibly high success rate of 96%.

The Linden Method does not require any medication as these only serve to control symptoms and don’t address the root cause of the anxiety. You will be encouraged early on in the program if you are on medication that you don’t need your medicine to get better. Medication suppresses anxious thoughts and emotions but you need to learn to control your anxiety levels for yourself. There can be no permanent cure for anxiety whilst you try to artificially control how you feel with chemicals. As somebody who always seemed to suffer from side effects to drugs and never got any benefit from them I was pleased that this was covered early on.

Although you may find other anxiety therapies helpful, The Linden Method recommends that you don’t continue to use them as they can distract you. Switching between different therapies and therapists all the time won’t get you anywhere. You need to commit yourself to something and allow it time to work. The Linden Method success speaks for itself and that you should give you the encouragement to stick with it until you get results. If it doesn’t work the first time you try it you need to persevere with it instead of being distracted by some other method. All you will end up doing is relying on other peoples and methods as a crutch when you need to be the one responsible for your own recovery.

The Linden Method may be challenging for you as you will be asked not to rely on anybody else for their comfort and reassurances. Friends and family can impede your recovery if you continue to rely on them for support.
